1st great thing- I am one of the newest employees of Big Dog Running Company !!!! I am super excited. Talk about total runner nerd out. I can't wait to learn more about all the shoes and gear we offer and hang out with other run nerds all day!!! Could I use any more exclamation points....The other great thing about great thing number one is that I will get a paycheck- which was not really the original reason I applied but now that the government is shutdown it is not really clear whether or not the Army is getting paid.....so that is not great. Of course I will have to resist using my entire paycheck on running gear.....tricky, very tricky. 2nd great thing- I won a free marathon entry from Yo Momma Runs for the Seven Bridget Marathon in Chattanooga Tennessee. Source The only slight issue is that it is a week after Chicago. So like any rational person I booked a hotel room with the idea that I am gonna give it a go.
